My Go experience in France

This year, I had the incredible opportunity to visit France during the Olympics and immerse myself in the world of Go. My journey began with attending the prestigious European Go Congress, held in the picturesque city of Toulouse in August 2024. This annual event is a highlight for Go enthusiasts worldwide, and being part of it was a a great experience that connected me to the global community.

A particular highlight of my time in France was the launch of the SenseRobot Go and experiencing the robot firsthand. This new remarkable innovation blends cutting-edge AI with the timeless strategies of Go, offering a unique gameplay experience that bridges tradition and technology for people from any age and backgrounds. Playing against the SenseGo robot was not only exciting but also showcased the potential of AI in enhancing Go training and engagement. It was fascinating to see how technology is being harnessed to make Go more accessible and appealing to a broader audience. I am thrilled to announce that I am now offering the SenseRobot Go with English version to anyone in Australia, with free international shipping.

While in Toulouse, I also had the honor of attending the International Go Study Association Conference on AI and Go. This event brought together thought leaders, players, and researchers from around the globe to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and the ancient game of Go. At the conference, I presented my work on a Go promotional framework, which draws on my experience collaborating with community, Universities, and business organisations in Australia. Sharing insights and strategies for promoting Go on an international stage was an incredibly rewarding experience, as well as listening to the others international AI and Go presenters.

To cap off an already memorable trip, I was deeply humbled to receive an International Go Promotional Award for my TEDx Talk in Perth from Myongji University ๋ช…์ง€๋Œ€ ์˜๋ฌธ in South Korea. This global recognition is a testament to the power of storytelling and community engagement in spreading the joy and wisdom of Go.

France, with its rich culture and passionate Go community, offered me a perfect backdrop to connect with like-minded individuals and explore new dimensions of this timeless game. From the bustling halls of the European Go Congress to the thought-provoking discussions at the AI and Go conference, my journey was filled with inspiration, learning, and unforgettable memories.

Iโ€™m excited to bring back these experiences and insights to share with our community. I am also excited to be able to offer the SenseRobot Go to anyone in my networks and to implement it into business training.
